POWER POINT
          Power point create electronic slide shows and to create presentations that can run automatically. Automated presentations are often used as kiosks at trade shows. Presentation packages make the presentation of ideas and concepts interesting and effective .They have the following advantages
v They are highly interactive
v They present the material in a high quality way
v They present complex and complicated ideas in a clear and lucid manner
v Photography and other useful material can be included in the presentation for illustrations and better understanding
CREATING PRESENTATION        
1.   Create the presentation, entering and editing text, and rearranging slides.
2.   Apply a presentation design. Modify the design if necessary.
3.   Format individual slides.
4.   Add objects to the presentation.
5.   Apply and modify transition, animation effects, and links for electronic presentation.
6.   Create audience materials and speaker notes.
7.   Rehears and add slide timings.
8.   Present the presentation.

AUTO CONTENT WIZARD

          In auto content wizard to taken through a series   of steps.
1.   Choose Auto content wizard from the New presentation dialog box.
2.   Choose a presentation type from the list provide. Click Next.
3.   Specify the type of output. Click Next.
4.   Enter a title for presentation. Click Next.
5.   Click Finish to close the Wizard and open the presentation.
VIEWING SLIDES
                  
Slide View
          Slide view lets work with slides one at a time. Click a slide’s icon to display that slide.
Slide Sorter view
          It allows to see a screen full of slides at one time. It can swap slides around, delete slides, and add special effects. Cannot edit text or place objects on slides in this view.
Slide Show view
          It is the final button in this group. Click this button to see how a slide will look in full-screen mode.

DEVOLOPING A PRESENTATION

          In the presentation development work in Normal view or in Outline view. In normal view, can edit the text in the left pane or the right pane. In outline view, can enter and edit text and rearrange bullet points, paragraphs, and slides.

CHECKING SPELLING
                   Power point includes two spelling features. Right click on words with a red wavy underline to see suggested correct spellings. To check the spelling for an entire presentation, click the spelling button on the standard toolbar.
DESIGN TEMPLATE

          Use the design elements from any presentation or template in a new presentation. To create a presentation using a design template, either choose design Template in the dialog box or choose File >New from the menu bar to open the new presentation dialog box. Double click a design template or click OK to choose the selected template.
SLIDE LAYOUTS

          If begin a presentation with a design template or choose to create a blank presentation. Select the Slide layout for the presentation, and click OK the slide opens in normal view.

CHANGING COLOR SCHEME

                    It is easiest to choose one of the power point design templates to establish the primary background. or colors to meet specific needs.

MODIFYING SLIDE MASTER

Every design includes a Slide Master that identifies the position of the text and graphic objects, the style of the fonts, the footer elements, and the background for all slides. Any change make to the master will be affected in each slide that is based on the Master.
CUSTAMISING THE BACKGROUND

This is used to change the background of a slide. Choosing automatic fill the background with the default fill color. Selecting a color from the eight color scheme colors or more colors changes the background color. Choosing fill effects opens the fill effects dialog box.
INSERTING CLIP ART
          To use clip art with presentation, choose Insert > Pictures > Clip Art, or select a slide layout with a clip art placeholder and double click the placeholder.
SOUND AND MOTION CLIPS
          Power point includes and motion clips can play during slide shows. Some sounds, like the typewriter or laser sound, are included on the animation effects toolbar. Other sounds, music, and motion clips are in the Insert Clip Art dialog box.
ADDING ANIMATION
          Transition effects are used between slides; animation effects occur within a slide. Each title, bullet point, or object on a slide can be added to the slide separately. In slide sorter view apply a group of preset animation settings. The selected animation will be applied to all text in the slide.
POWERPOINT PRINTING

          Clicking the print button on the standard toolbar prints the entire presentation in slide show.
